Tracie

As she washed the blood off her switchblade Tracie thought how different her life could’ve been. How so many unfortunate events led her to this life of murder and crime. In high school she was the innocent one, the quiet type. If her classmates could only see her now. She looked the same; soft brown skin, almond eyes and smile to die for, but underneath she was someone she didn’t recognize.

Jeff was bleeding out slowly, she wanted his death to hurt. She wanted the pain he put those women through to haunt him. He moaned, squirming around on the floor. At dinner he had told her how during certain activities he was a bit….loud. So she cut his tongue out for good measure. No need to wake the neighbors.

As she put her blade back into her thigh holster and grabbed her pistol, she walked slowly over to him screwing in the silencer.

“Do you know why I’m doing this Jeff?” Squatting next to his helpless body caressing his face. Her perfume filled his nostrils. She smelled sweet and warm.

“Hmmm?… I’m doing this because you will probably never get the true punishment you deserve for the things you’ve done. Your money will allow you to walk freely, continuing to assault women when ever you feel like it…. But that stops today.”

She had injected him with Succinylcholine, which paralyzed him but he was still able to feel. So when she cut his penis off and shoved it in his mouth he knew what it felt like.

“It’s not so nice when it’s done to you huh Jeff?” Tracie laughed. I mean cutting out his tongue and a couple of toes was on the to do list, but the penis was completely improvised. She just thought it would be a nice touch.

She glanced at her Van Cleef & Arpels watch. “Shit Jeff, I’m late!”

With a head tilt and a smirk she politely said “I’d love to stay and chat, but I really must go.”

Tracie threw her mink jacket over her shoulders and shot two bullets into his head. There was more blood than expected. She exited his apartment and got into her car. At the corner was a homeless man, she stuck ten dollars out the window and decided to do some damage control.

“God bless you sista.” The man grinned.

“No problem sir, can you throw these away for me, if you don’t mind?” Smiling… Handing him a pair of black latex gloves.

She had to hurry. She was running late for a ceremony where she, herself would be the guest of honor. As she checked her lipstick and patted her nose she thought to herself.. to be young, gifted and black.
